NEXT JUBILEE MASS IS ON TUESDAY, APRIL 1ST.
All of us have been given a great blessing at Immaculate Conception Church.
Pope Francis, Bishop Malesic and Fr. Donnelly have given us a year of Hope at our parish which has been designated as a Sacred Site by Bishop Ed Malesic for the Jubilee Year of Hope.
For many who have not had an opportunity to attend one of the monthly Jubilee Masses so far this year at Immaculate Conception Church because they were part of the morning mass schedule, the next Jubilee Mass is Tuesday night, April 1st at 7:00pm.
Please mark your calendar and bring your friends and family to come and celebrate the Jubilee.
If you are not sure what the Jubilee is all about, scroll down and listen to a talk by Father Donnelly and then watch a very special episode of Living Divine Mercy and hear the explanation of why this blessing we have received at Immaculate Conception Church is so important for all of us.
The Jubilee Year, dedicated to the virtue of hope, was inaugurated by Pope Francis on Christmas Eve with the opening of the Holy Door in St. Peter's Basilica. But what is a jubilee, a tradition in the Catholic Church that dates back to the Old Testament? Father Andy Davy, MIC, explains, and reveals why this Jubilee Year is a cause for celebration. Then hear the amazing story of Jason Brown, a professional NFL football player, on why he gave up fame and fortune to make God the center of his life while serving others.
