St. Peter the Rock Media, AM 1260 The Rock, is proud to be an affiliate of EWTN. Through EWTN, we receive quality Catholic programming at no cost via a satellite feed that includes programming from multiple Catholic Radio sources such as EWTN, Vatican Radio, St. Joseph Radio, Ave Maria, Catholic Answers, and other Catholic media sources from around the world.

The primary benefit of the EWTN affiliation is that EWTN has a rigorous review process for their programs, hosts and guests to ensure that our broadcasts will provide faithful Catholic content.

AM 1260 staff, volunteers, and the board of directors work within the spirit of the programming charter. A programming advisory committee, approved by the board of directors and working in conjunction with the staff, will assist in fulfilling programming objectives. Vision

St. Peter the Rock Media strives to answer the call of Pope Francis, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, and St. Pope John Paul II to bring about the New Evangelization of the Catholic Church.  We believe a new spring time is upon us in the Catholic Church and we strive to strengthen the local Body of Christ in which we serve.

Through St. Peter the Rock Media for Cleveland, we will serve as a hub for promoting the teachings of Jesus Christ and his work through the many activities of the local parishes, Diocese, lay apostolates and Catholic schools and institutions.  We want to help all souls to know, love and serve the Lord so that we can bring about His presence on earth and help all people be with Him in Eternity.

Mission

The mission of St. Peter the Rock Media is to provide quality Catholic programming that is faithful to the teachings of the Church and presented in a way that inspires conversion of heart and a deepening of faith while building up the local Body of Christ.

“To proclaim Christ in the media at the dawn of the new millennium is not only a necessary part of the Church’s evangelizing mission; it is also a vital, inspiring and hope-filled enrichment of the media’s message. May God abundantly bless all those who honor and proclaim His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, in the vast world of the means of social communication.” - St. Pope John Paul II, Message for World Media Day, January 24, 2000
